The BladeRunner Team is pleased to share that Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator (CCA) has awarded our Company with a grant that will support our first pilot project.
BladeRunner is partnering with the Energy Systems Engineering department at Oregon State University-Cascades to tackles 2 topics that are crucial to proving the concept behind our technology and are essential for a successful rollout of a pilot demonstration project:
- A resource assessment focused on the most feasible deployment locations found within irrigation canals.
- The development of a system architecture that focuses on the interface needed between stored power (i.e. a battery bank) and a grid, whether utility scale or microgrid.
As our project progresses, we will share more updates in our blog.
