The National Science Foundation has again chosen to support the BladeRunner technology. The PAX Scientific and BladeRunner teams have been awarded a Phase II grant through the NSF’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.
The project will build on the results achieved during Phase I by continuing to improve the rotor design through CFD and small scale testing. The project will then transition to full-scale prototyping, system integration and multiple full-scale tests in real environmental conditions. Read the full R&D abstract here!
