Over the past years, BladeRunner has been developing its technology through the National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The funding and guidance the NSF has offered has been critical to our success and we are excited to share that Business Oregon has decided to award a matching grant to further our efforts. The state and stakeholders of Oregon have been so welcoming of BladeRunner and we feel this is the perfect opportunity to make a bigger impact in the state.
BladeRunner will use these funds to develop a 5 unit array (5kW) in a Central OR canal. In addition, we will research the various Irrigation Districts to understand the most valuable locations to deploy BladeRunners and how the generated energy can best be used.
