On April 24, 2014, the BladeRunner team waded out into the cool waters of the Potomac River for a concept test featuring the PAX Rotor connected to a power drill by a flexible steel cable. This marked one of the more encouraging moments in BladeRunner’s history as the founders became fully convinced that the BladeRunner configuration is viable. This set the team on a trajectory to formally found the company and begin intense business planning and more sophisticated prototype development.
